Feminist Pedagogy and Health: Tools for Reducing Inequalities
How can feminist pedagogical approaches help address health inequalities in medical education and healthcare? This seminar will explore teaching and learning methods that promote inclusion, student empowerment, and critical thinking, from the classroom to clinical practice and workplace organisation.
Drawing on their experience in feminist pedagogy, the speakers will present practical tools, discuss their strengths and limitations, and share initiatives aimed at fostering more equitable health systems. Topics will include inclusive teaching practices, support for early-career women researchers in health, and innovative approaches to teaching structural competencies in health.
