NRP 83 Gender Medicine and Health

The "Gender Medicine and Health" programme is one of four NRPs selected from among the 78 topic proposals submitted to the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation.

With a budget of 11 million Swiss francs, its aim is to create a knowledge base for the integration of gender- and sex-related aspects into medical research, medicine and healthcare in Switzerland. 

Implementation of the programmes has been entrusted to the Swiss National Science Foundation.
